Trump Mocks ‘No Kings’ Protests, Says Schumer’s Losing Shutdown Battle

President Donald Trump dismissed the significance of the upcoming “No Kings” protests and criticized Senator Chuck Schumer regarding the government shutdown. He asserted that Democrats have miscalculated their political strategy.

The nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations, organized by progressive groups, are expected to draw large crowds. Organizers describe them as a defense of democracy, while many Republicans have labeled them “Hate America” rallies.

In a preview of a Fox News interview, Trump ridiculed the notion that he is viewed as a monarch. When asked about the “No Kings” narrative, he smiled and stated, “I’m not a king.”

Trump then shifted focus to the shutdown, directly attacking Senator Schumer. He claimed Schumer is “at the end of the line” and suggested the Democrat is politically desperate.

The president argued the budget impasse has given him leverage to cut programs he says Republicans never supported. He specifically mentioned cutting a $20 billion infrastructure project that Schumer had long championed.

In a separate development, Trump revealed that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has “offered everything” to persuade the U.S. to halt military anti-drug operations.

When asked about Maduro’s offers, Trump used profanity to state that the Venezuelan leader “doesn’t want to f*** around with the United States.” The comment highlighted the ongoing tension as U.S. forces target drug-trafficking networks.
