Furious Donald Trump ‘cursed’ and ‘threw maps’ as he gave Zelenskyy ultimatum: report

A recent meeting at the White House between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy reportedly ended in a heated argument. According to the Financial Times, the discussion became a “shouting match” as the two leaders disagreed over the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The tension reportedly stemmed from Zelenskyy’s request for advanced Tomahawk cruise missiles. President Trump expressed hesitation to provide the weapons, citing the need to preserve U.S. military supplies.

During the encounter, Trump was described as “cursing all the time.” He allegedly warned Zelenskyy that if he did not agree to terms for ending the invasion, Vladimir Putin would “destroy” Ukraine.

Reports suggest the U.S. position involved Ukraine ceding the entire Donbas region. Trump is said to have thrown a map on a table, stating he was “sick” of the conflict and unfamiliar with the front lines.

Despite the confrontation, the U.S. ultimately agreed to support a freeze along the current frontline positions. This would effectively halt the fighting without a formal peace treaty.

Shortly after the meeting, Trump posted on social media, writing, “Enough blood has been shed.” He suggested both sides should stop where they are and “let both claim Victory.”

The incident highlights the continued challenges in resolving the conflict, with the reported U.S. strategy focusing on an immediate cessation of hostilities rather than a negotiated settlement.
