🔥 Panic Aboard Air China Flight After Battery Fire Mid-Air

Panic erupted onboard Air China flight CA139 after a lithium battery in a passenger’s carry-on luggage caught fire mid-flight. The incident occurred while the aircraft was en route from Hangzhou, China, to Seoul, South Korea.

According to reports, smoke began billowing from an overhead luggage compartment, causing alarm among passengers. Flight attendants quickly responded, using fire extinguishers to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading throughout the cabin.

The pilots declared an emergency and diverted the aircraft to Shanghai Pudong International Airport, where it landed safely. Emergency crews met the plane upon arrival, and all passengers were evacuated without injury.
