George Soros’ Network Reportedly Funding ‘No Kings’ Protests Nationwide

A new report has connected billionaire philanthropist George Soros and his network to the “No Kings” protests scheduled for this weekend, which have gained support from prominent Democrats, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Financial records and grant disclosures reviewed by Fox News show that Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF) and its political affiliate, the Open Society Action Fund, have provided millions to progressive groups now coordinating the demonstrations.

The protests, planned in Washington, D.C., and other major cities, are framed as a stand against “authoritarian leadership” and abuses of executive power. Critics argue they reflect Soros’ influence in shaping political activism nationwide.

Central to the effort is Indivisible, a left-leaning advocacy group that received a two-year, $3 million grant from the Open Society Action Fund in 2023. Indivisible handles volunteer coordination, participant registration, and digital outreach for the protests, describing the events as a “defense of democracy.”

Connections between Soros and Indivisible run deep. The organization’s leaders previously worked in Democratic politics and have ties to OSF leadership. Since 2017, Soros-backed networks have granted Indivisible over $7.6 million, with additional support from allied foundations like Tides Advocacy.

While OSF states its grants comply with U.S. law and aim to promote civic engagement rather than partisan politics, Republican lawmakers argue the protests are orchestrated and funded by elite donors to influence political outcomes. Sen. Ted Cruz and other GOP figures have criticized the events as strategically timed to pressure political opponents ahead of the 2026 midterms.

Supporters contend the network’s work promotes equality, transparency, and democracy, but the controversy highlights ongoing debates over the influence of wealthy philanthropists in U.S. civic and political life as the “No Kings” protests take place this weekend.
